Συμμετοχή του ΕΒΕΟ/ΕΜΠ στο 30ο ετήσιο συνέδριο του EAEPE / Νίκαια, Γαλλία, 6-8 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018 , September 12th, 2018

LIEE/NTUA successfully participated in the 30th Annual Conference of EAEPE (European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy) that was held in Nice, France, from 06 to 08 of September 2018 at the ISEM Institute (School of Economics and Business), at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. The general theme of this year’s EAEPE Conference was: “Evolutionary foundations at a crossroad: Assessments, outcomes and implications for policy makers“.

The senior researchers Aimilia Protogerou and Ioanna Kastelli, the post-doc researcher Panagiotis Panagiotopoulos and the PhD Candidate George Siokas participated with paper presentations (co-authors: Professors Yannis Caloghirou and Aggelos Tsakanikas, and the LIEE collaborators Glykeria Karagouni and Alexandra Kontolaimou) as well as with a discussant and/or chairman role in the following four Sessions of two different Research Areas (E1. Στον Sidney Winter το παγκόσμιο βραβείο για την έρευνα στην επιχειρηματικότητα , April 20th, 2015

Το Παγκόσμιο Βραβείο Έρευνας στην Επιχειρηματικότητα (The Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research) του έτους 2015 απονεμήθηκε στoν Sidney Winter (Επίτιμο Καθηγητή Management στο Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania). To βραβείο αυτό θεωρείται το σημαντικότερο παγκοσμίως στο συγκεκριμένο ερευνητικό πεδίο και απονέμεται από τρεις οργανισμούς στη Σουηδία: 1) το Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum (Entreprenörskapsforum), 2) το Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) και 3) τη VINNOVA (Sweden’s Innovation Agency).

H βράβευση βασίστηκε στην ερευνητική συνεισφορά του:

1. Στην κατανόηση του τρόπου με τον οποίο οι τεχνολογικές αλλαγές μέσα στις επιχειρήσεις σχετίζονται με τις οργανωσιακές ρουτίνες και την οργανωσιακή ανανέωση.
2. Στην εμπειρική και θεωρητική ανάλυση του πως και του γιατί οι επιχειρήσεις μπορούν να αφομοιώσουν καινοτομίες και πως ο παράγοντας αυτός διαφέρει μεταξύ διαφορετικών οικονομικών/βιομηχανικών κλάδων.
3. Στον τρόπο με τον οποίο οι επιχειρήσεις αναπτύσσουν δυναμικές ικανότητες. Συγκεκριμένα, ο Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Βράβευσης Καθηγητής Charlie Karlsson (Jönköping International Business School) αναφέρει: “H δουλειά του έχει επηρεάσει την κατανόησή μας ως προς τα φαινόμενα της επιχειρηματικότητας και της έρευνας πάνω σε αυτήν, του μάνατζμεντ, των οικονομικών όπως και της διαχείρισης της τεχνολογίας και της καινοτομίας“.

Επίσης, ο Sidney Winter μαζί με τον Richard Nelson έγραψαν το εμβληματικό βιβλίο στην περιοχή της εξελικτικής οικονομικής (evolutionary economics) “An Evolutionary Theory of Economic Change“, που εκδόθηκε το 1982 και αποτελεί το βιβλίο αναφοράς στη συγκεκριμένη επιστημονική περιοχή.
